Privacy notice

Right now Roz Ki Gita is a waitlist and a few sample stories. This notice covers the waitlist. Before a beta starts we will update it to cover the app, and ask for your consent again.
What we collect
- Your first name
- Your email address or WhatsApp number, whichever you choose
- Your child's age range (for example 7 to 8), not a birthday
- Up to two everyday struggles you pick from a list, such as slow mornings or mealtimes
- Which shared link brought you here, if the link carried a tag
We do not ask for your child's name, photos, date of birth, school or location. The age range is not linked to any named child.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about the private beta
- To learn, in totals only, which struggles matter most to families, so we write the right stories first
- To see which places people hear about us from, again only as totals
What we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising or analytics trackers
- No cookies for tracking
- We never sell or share your details
Where it is stored
In a database in India (Mumbai), run for us by Supabase. The website is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data only on our behalf. Joining the waitlist does not send anything to an AI model.
Stopping spam
To limit automated sign-ups, we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your internet address for up to 24 hours. It can't be turned back into the address, and it is deleted after a day. We never store the address itself.
How long we keep it
Until the beta invitations are done, and no longer than 12 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@rozkigita.app. We will act within 30 days.
Children
Children never use Roz Ki Gita. A parent signs up and reads the stories aloud. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, any future feature that stores information about a child will ask for your consent as their parent first.
The sample stories
Our sample stories feature fictional children. They were written with the help of Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, then edited and checked by a person.
